I'm sorry. DA can give it the rationale it wants until they're blue in the face, but -I- as creator and artist have final say on how my work gets shown and shared. And it will not be by letting anyone that feels like re-post it with the click of a button wherever they feel like it.
My art is part of my image, and my creations are MINE.
So, mini rant aside- how DO you disable the Share functions? Because otherwise I'm taking all my work off. Enough of all the BS they keep slipping us...
So. How do you disable them??

Thank you!!!
Bless those of you that sent me cards, art, a messageof encouragementand hope. :)
Surgery was a success, and though they had to take out several orgqns and manhandle others (plus do chemo) they think they got ALL the cancer out.
I will still need chemo in the fall, but things...are looking up, and actually positive. I am out of the hospital, qnd will be heading back home this sunday.
Thank you all for the love, the kindness. You helped me through a really rough time.
Off to Calgary for Surgery
Leaving for Calgary the day after tomorrow - have to be in a few days early for blood tests and surgery prep. Surgery is on the 7th of June.

I HAVE A SURGERY DATE!!!!
I got a date for my Mother of all Surgeries -- June 7th. Tons of things I need to get done before ( a colonoscopy, vaccines etc) but I'm so relieved that we have an actual date now and it isn't that far off.
The MOAS is brutal, but it improves the prognosis significantly. I will probably be in the hospital at least 6 weeks after that, so I likely won't be that active on here.
Still - if you have time to spare a thought or a prayer on that date, they would be much, much appreciated.
Here's to beating the cancer!!!
Surgery is a go!!! :)
Just got home from our consultation with the experts, and the good news is that the Mother of All Surgeries is a go!
Although the tumour has grown again and taken over other areas its apparently low grade enough that it can still be operated on, and hopefully kept at bay with a combination of the operation and chemotherapy- both during ( HIPEC) and in the 3-4 months after.
These will be some long, long months ahead -- but at least there is also a clear hope to hold on to. Onwards and upwards -- thank you for all the wonderful wishes, (Jenny, for your beautiful image!) and all the song suggestions. I was thinking of you all and your positi

One of the staffers (I think) posted something in her journal about opting-out. You can find it here.
Personally I feel the same way you do. Let it be my choice. Add new features all they want, but give me the option to say "No thanks". That's all.
